Wido Prince's Album: That's Is Me, Again
After the success of his previous album, That’s Me, released in 2015, Wido Prince returns with his new album, That’s Me, Again, featuring 13 songs that reflect his artistic growth and creative renewal.
What sets That’s Me, Again apart is that Wido Prince is the first Arab artist to produce Amapiano songs. This album is the first to combine Amapiano and Afrobeat styles with three languages: Arabic, English, and Yoruba. This unique fusion creates an extraordinary musical experience that blends different cultures and offers a global sound with an Arabic essence.
Wido worked tirelessly on this album, collaborating with composers and distributors from both Dubai and Africa. His dedication to crafting a perfect blend of African rhythms and Middle Eastern soul is evident in every track. The result is a rich, diverse album that showcases Wido’s evolution as an artist.
This album is also a continuation of his previous project That’sIs Me, released in 2015, which was a personal response to a challenge Wido faced when someone told him it would be impossible for him to appear on television. As a defiant reply, Wido released an album of 15 songs, each beginning with the phrase “That’sIs Me.” Five music videos from that album were aired on international channels, which helped solidify his global reputation.
That’s Me, Again stands as a musical masterpiece that merges past and present, blending various cultures to create a global experience. This album is a testament to Wido Prince’s ongoing artistic journey and his unique ability to bring together the worlds of Amapiano, Afrobeat, and multilingual expression.
